Polyurethane foam is an open cell densities available 6-25 kg/m3.
The lower density foam makes it more efficient and economical, and also provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
Effective protection against outside noise and the sound between the rooms of the building is due to the coefficient of sound insulation of at 0,5.
This foam allows you to control the diffusion of water vapor, because it is more permeable. However, due to moisture absorption properties of the application, eg. in the attic should be used from the roof foil vapor barrier, and a vapor permeable film from the inside of the building.
Intended use of open-cell foam:
- Attic, roofing, facades of buildings, ceilings, floors and interior walls,
- Sale, Media, Industrial, public, hangary.
Properties of an open-cell foam:
- Density 6-25kg / m3
- The coefficient of sound insulation 0,5
- Thermal conductivity 0,040 W/mK
- Many times higher thermal resistance compared with polystyrene, mineral wool, plate mold, wood, korkiem
- Resistant to oxidation at elevated temperature
- Resistant to fire
- There are no gaps in the joints which prevents leakage
